Our Commitment

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is an organization with strong values of people, accountability, trust, and honesty. Our Code of Conduct outlines how as a Texas state agency we conduct business with the highest standards of ethics.

TxDOT is committed to an environment where open, honest communications are the expectation, not the exception. Individuals, regardless if they work for TxDOT, are encouraged to use this hotline, hosted by an independent third party, EthicsPoint.

This hotline is intended for the reporting of instances where you believe violations of policies or standards within our Code of Conduct have occurred regarding our employees, contractors, grant recipients, etc., including:

  • Discrimination
  • Fraud, Waste, and/or Abuse of TxDOT resources
  • Harassment
  • Severe Unprofessional Conduct
  • Workplace Violence
  • Retaliation

The information you provide will be sent to TxDOT by EthicsPoint on a confidential and anonymous basis if you should choose. You have our guarantee that your comments will be heard.

To Make a Report

You may use either of the following two methods to submit a report:

After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. Use your report key and password to periodically check your report for feedback or questions.
