Our Commitment

The Taft School is an organization committed to educating the whole child and our Expectations of Behavior articulates the school’s standard for ethics, integrity, and community norms. Taft expects that all community members uphold the Expectations of Behavior and comply with the school's policies, applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Taft is committed to ensuring an environment where open, honest communications are the expectation, not the exception. We want you to feel comfortable approaching the School in instances where you believe violations of policies or standards have occurred. Community members should be able to ask questions freely and raise concerns without fear of retaliation.

Community members are encouraged to submit reports relating to violations of Taft’s Expectations of Behavior or suspected wrongdoing. Community members may ask for guidance related to the Expectations of Behavior and the school’s policies and procedure. The school also welcomes positive suggestions, stories, and personal experiences.

In situations where you prefer to place an anonymous report in confidence, you are encouraged to use this hotline, hosted by a third party hotline provider, EthicsPoint. EthicsPoint will send the information you provide to us on a totally confidential and anonymous basis if you should choose.

You have our promise that your comments will be heard.
