Our Commitment

White Ribbon Alliance is a global movement grounded in human rights. Together we work to activate justice, equity and access without exception and celebrate the voices of all people. We believe that a respectful and inclusive workplace is built with diversity of people and ideas and is essential for the movement to thrive. We are committed to holding ourselves and all those we work with accountable to behavior that supports this. We recognize that the laws of nations are unique to individual countries, contexts and norms. Our Global Code of Conduct outlines what White Ribbon Alliance considers the minimum standards for behavior applicable to all parties that are part of White Ribbon Alliance, our investigative process and how we will hold ourselves accountable.

White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood is committed to an environment where open, honest communications are the expectation, not the exception. We want you to feel comfortable in approaching us in instances where you believe violations of policies or standards have occurred. Reports may be filed with the Chair of the National Alliance Council, or CEO and Director of Operations at the Global Secretariat. We will investigate every complaint through an unbiased process, and fiercely protect the identity, safety and wellbeing of complainants, including from retaliation in any form.
