EthicsPoint is more than just a hotline through which individuals can report issues of suspected fraud, waste, or misconduct. Members of the Georgia Tech community may also submit questions, comments, and feedback about areas that could help Georgia Tech achieve institutional effectiveness.
As a public research university, Georgia Tech is a steward of taxpayer dollars, research funding, and tuition paid by students and their families. Unethical behavior depletes resources that could be used to fund the programs and positions necessary for Georgia Tech to achieve its academic and research mission. Consequently, each member of the Georgia Tech community must ensure that unethical behavior is reported and that Institute resources are used responsibly.
Each member of the Georgia Tech community is responsible for maintaining an appropriate environment for work and study as well as conducting themselves in a professional manner. Discriminatory harassment or other failures to behave professionally and ethically will not be tolerated.
Georgia Tech has partnered with EthicsPoint, Inc. to provide a means for members of the Georgia Tech community to confidentially report issues of concern. This internet-based reporting system allows anonymous communications and feedback. This helps ensure that the Institute can respond to concerns in the most efficient and effective manner.
Thank you for your input as we work together to ensure Georgia Tech maintains a positive and productive working and learning environment.
