Bladex has selected EthicsPoint to provide you with an alternative to report actual or possible violations of our Code of Ethics, as well as other work-related situations on irregular or suspicious transactions, accounting matters, internal audit or accounting controls. Through EthicsPoint, you may report situations on the following areas:
  • Accounting, internal accounting controls or auditing matters;
  • Suspicious activities relating to the violation of Banks regulations and Anti-Money Laundering;
  • People-related matters, such as:
    • Conflicts of interest
    • Discrimination and harassment
    • Retaliation
    • Unsafe workplace conditions
    • Inappropriate use of electronic systems
    • Insider Trading
    • Falsification of contracts, reports or records
You may also present your reports on these subjects through the usual mechanisms. As such, accounting and auditing matters may be referred to your supervisor, the Executive Vice President - Chief Audit Officer or the Internal Audit Department; matters dealing with regulations and bank’s law and Anti-Money Laundering matters may be referred to your Comptroller or to your Compliance Officer; and People-related matters may be referred to your supervisor or Human Resource Department.
