Our Commitment
Mercy is a health care ministry with strong values of responsibility and integrity. We are committed to maintaining our mission, values and charism through word and deed.
At Mercy, open, honest communications are the expectation, not the exception. If you suspect or are aware of behavior that may violate Mercy’s policies or State or Federal regulations, promptly report this information to local leadership or through this hotline.
You are encouraged to use this hotline, hosted by a third-party hotline provider, EthicsPoint. You may remain anonymous in making your report.
The information you provide will be sent to us by EthicsPoint on a totally confidential and anonymous basis if you should choose.
What Happens After a Concern is Raised
All reports and inquiries are promptly forwarded for review.
We may refer appropriate reports to relevant individuals. For example, concerns related to Human Resources are typically referred to Talent Relations. Patient concerns may be referred to the local Patient Experience representative.
In all cases, an investigation is conducted, and any confirmed misconduct is addressed per the applicable policy.
Non-Retaliation
Mercy does not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith any observed, or suspected, illegal or unethical behavior, or policy violations.
Mercy will take appropriate action to ensure the rights of individuals to speak up are respected and not interfered with in any manner.
