Joliet Junior College (JJC) expects all employees to conduct themselves and College business in a manner that reflects the highest standards of ethical conduct, and in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This includes abiding by all Board Policies and behaving in alignment with the Employee Handbook and any applicable collective bargaining agreements.

In alignment with our core values of Respect and Inclusion, Collaboration, and Integrity, JJC is committed to an environment where open, honest communication is a key component. We want all employees and stakeholders to feel comfortable in approaching the leadership, including a supervisor, in instances where you believe violations of policies or standards have occurred. This includes, but is not limited to, ethics violations, conflicts of interest, fraud, workplace safety concerns, discrimination or bias incidents, or any violation of Board Policy.

In situations where you prefer to place an anonymous report in confidence, you are encouraged to use this hotline, hosted by a third party hotline provider, EthicsPoint. You are encouraged to submit reports relating to violations as stated in our Board Policies, as well as asking for guidance related to policies and procedures and providing positive suggestions and stories.

The information you provide will be sent to JJC by EthicsPoint on a totally confidential and anonymous basis, if you should choose. You have our guarantee that your comments will be heard. You will also have the ability to follow up on a complaint using a secure method.
