Nuclear Employee Concerns Program

Nuclear Employee Concerns

Our Commitment

Employee Culture Oversight (ECO) is an organization in which the Employee Concerns Program (ECP) and oversight of Nuclear Safety Culture (NSC) are combined.

ECP provides a means for employees and contractors to report nuclear safety and quality concerns in a confidential or anonymous manner. Our procedures and ECP Mission Statement contain general guidelines for conducting business with integrity and the highest standards.

ECP is committed to maintaining a healthy Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) at each of our nuclear sites. A SCWE is a work environment where personnel are encouraged (feel free) to raise nuclear safety concerns without fear of harassment, intimidation, retaliation, or discrimination (HIRD) and where such concerns are promptly reviewed, given the proper priority based on their safety significance, and are appropriately resolved with timely feedback to employees. A healthy SCWE is also an environment where open, honest communications are the expectation, not the exception. We want you to feel comfortable in approaching your supervisor or management in instances where you believe nuclear safety or violations of policies or standards have occurred.

In situations where you prefer to place an anonymous report in confidence, you are encouraged to use this hotline, hosted by a third-party hotline provider, EthicsPoint. You are encouraged to submit reports relating to violations stated in our SCWE Policy (PY-NO-ALL-0200) as well as asking for guidance related to policies and procedure and providing positive suggestions and stories.

The information you provide will be sent to us by EthicsPoint on a confidential and anonymous basis if you should choose. You have our guarantee that your comments will be heard.

See the ECP FAQs for more information.
