Edison State Community College Confidential Reporting
Edison State Community College is committed to conducting its affairs ethically and in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations as well as college policies. Edison State has selected EthicsPoint, Inc. to provide a process for good faith reporting of illegal, unethical, or otherwise inappropriate behavior in violation of college policies. Frivolous or unfounded reports do not help foster a positive workplace.
Edison State considers employee and student concerns very important and requests your cooperation in resolving such issues. However, this reporting hotline service does not replace or supersede existing reporting methods on campus. Employees are encouraged to bring concerns immediately to their supervisor or other campus entities as appropriate. This anonymous reporting line does not support reporting of academic matters, student conduct matters, sexual harassment or discrimination, or employee grievances, all of which will continue to be addressed through current policies and procedures which afford due process and are designed to protect the rights of faculty, staff, and students.
For questions on faculty or staff grievance procedures please contact Human Resources at 937-778-7832.
Academic and student conduct matters should be directed to the Office of the Provost at 937-778-7887.
Complaints regarding sexual harassment or discrimination should be made to the Title IX Coordinators at titleix@edisonohio.edu or 937-778-7872.
Criminal conduct occurring on Edison State property or involving college employees or students should be reported to the Department of Public Safety at 937-778-7820.
Persons who do not feel comfortable making an internal report may make an anonymous report to Edison State’s confidential reporting hotline at 833-255-7732 or in writing by clicking on "MAKE A REPORT" to the right.
Edison State encourages you to return to this website in five to ten business days using the report key assigned by EthicsPoint and your private password. The College may have information for you or may need additional information to investigate the allegation.
Edison State is a public institution subject to Ohio's open record law ("Sunshine Law"). Protected disclosures and investigatory records will be kept confidential to the extent possible, consistent with the need to conduct an adequate investigation, and in accordance with the Ohio Public Records Act. If you choose to disclose your identity while submitting a claim to EthicsPoint, we may not be able to protect your identity should a public records request be made.
