CNS Cares Compliance Hotline
Our Commitment
CNS Cares is committed to providing the highest quality of home health care and to maintaining a culture that promotes company-wide compliance and ethical conduct. Through our Code of Conduct and other company policies and procedures, CNS Cares has established a corporate compliance program, which includes guidelines and expectations that reflect our commitment to full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and professional expectations.
It is the responsibility of our team members to report any suspected noncompliant or unethical conduct, and CNS Cares provides a variety of reporting avenues. To facilitate and encourage the prompt reporting of suspected instances of misconduct, the CNS Cares Compliance Hotline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Individuals who wish to remain anonymous can submit a confidential report and remain anonymous throughout the process. Individuals can also submit inquiries through the CNS Cares Compliance Hotline to receive information and guidance.
The CNS Cares Compliance Hotline is operated by EthicsPoint, a third-party provider. See the EthicsPoint FAQs for more information.
Non-Retaliation
CNS Cares maintains a zero-tolerance policy with regard to retaliation. Retaliation in any form against anyone who makes a good faith report or cooperates in an investigation is strictly prohibited. Any individual who feels he or she is being subjected to any form of retaliation should report it immediately.
“Retaliation” is defined as treating an individual adversely for engaging in a legally protected activity and can include a negative job action such as discipline, demotion, termination, salary reduction, change in job or shift assignment, or giving a performance evaluation that is lower than it should be.
“Good faith” does not mean that the investigation confirmed that the reported concern or activity was occurring or had occurred and was a violation of CNS Cares’s policies. Instead, it requires only that the reporter provided all known, truthful information at the time to aid in the investigation.
