What is EthicsPoint?

EthicsPoint is a solution provided by NAVEX Global, an independent company, that provides a comprehensive, secure and, if desired by the reporter, anonymous, telephone and web-based tool for reporting suspected unethical, unprofessional, illegal or fraudulent activity conducted by others associated with the Company.

Will I remain anonymous?

A report from home, a neighbor’s computer, or any Internet portal will remain secure and anonymous, if you so choose. An Internet portal never identifies a visitor by screen name and the EthicsPoint system strips away Internet addresses so that anonymity is totally maintained. Plus, EthicsPoint is contractually committed not to pursue a reporter’s identity.

The EthicsPoint system is designed to protect your anonymity. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, you - as a reporting party - need to ensure that the body of the report does not reveal your identity by accident. For example, “From my cube next to Jan Smith…” or “In my 33 years…”

Please bear in mind that if you decide to remain anonymous, your report may not contain enough information for the Compliance Line to complete an investigation. Therefore, we encourage all callers to leave their name, as the information that you provide will be treated confidentially. If you do provide your name, your name will be given to your organization, and your personal details will be used exclusively to conduct the investigation and to follow up with you about the reported incident.

What happens to my report?

Reports are entered directly on the EthicsPoint secure server to prevent any possible breach in security. EthicsPoint makes these reports available only to specific individuals within the company who are charged with evaluating the report, based on the type of issue/incident and location of the incident. Each of these report recipients has had training in keeping these reports in the utmost confidence.
