Bentley Ethics HelpLine
Bentley University is committed to meeting the highest ethical standards in its operations. Bentley has established a hotline to provide a way to report, anonymously and confidentially, activities that may involve improper conduct, violate Bentley policies, or constitute a violation of law. Bentley has selected EthicsPoint to provide this service. You may file a report on this website, or you may do so by telephone through the EthicsPoint Call center by dialing toll-free 1-866-ETHICSP (866-384-4277).
Bentley College campus
Bentley has established a number of policies and procedures for handling the concerns of members of our community. This hotline is not a substitute for those other avenues to report concerns. Instead, the EthicsPoint system is intended to offer an additional means of reporting in situations in which the individual is unable or unwilling to use the existing procedures, and it provides a method of reporting issues or complaints anonymously. While EthicsPoint can be used to report concerns involving discrimination or other violations of Bentley’s personnel policies, matters of this nature are often difficult to investigate anonymously. In such a case the reporting party may want to utilize the established procedures for these concerns.
Upon submission of a report, EthicsPoint will promptly forward the report to the Chair of the Audit Committee of the Board of Trustees and the University’s General Counsel for review and response. Bentley may request additional information from the reporting party and will use EthicsPoint to request such information, if necessary, as well as provide updates on the status of the matter and report the University’s conclusion. In all cases, your anonymity will be protected unless you choose to disclose your name. No retaliatory action will be taken against anyone for reporting or inquiring in good faith about potential violations of policies or other requirements for conducting Bentley business.
