This is Not an Emergency Service

Do not use these reporting methods to report events presenting an immediate threat to life or property or other emergency. Reports submitted through this service may not receive an immediate response.

Confidentiality

All reports will be handled as promptly and discreetly as possible, with facts made available only to those requiring the information in order to investigate and resolve the matter. GIA is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of individuals who submit reports. However, due to the nature of certain claims, GIA’s available options and actions may be limited if the individual does not wish to make his or her identity known.

No Retaliation

GIA policy prohibits retaliation against anyone for reporting or inquiring about potential breaches of GIA policies or for seeking guidance on how to handle suspected breaches.

When to Expect a Response

All reports will be carefully reviewed by GIA. We encourage anyone making a report online to return to the EthicsPoint web site within 3-5 business days of filing a report (using the Report Key assigned by ETHICSPOINT at the time of submission and your private password), as GIA may have information regarding your concern, or may require further information from you in order to proceed with an investigation.
