Our Commitment

Popular is an organization with strong values of integrity and excellence. Our Code of Ethics contains general guidelines which direct us to act and do business further to the highest ethical standards.

We are committed to maintaining a work environment where open, honest communications are the norm and not the exception. We want our employees to feel comfortable if they choose to approach their supervisor or manager to discuss situations which they believe may be violations of our Code of Ethics or other polices, guidelines, standards or procedures.

However, if our employees prefer to report any such situation in an anonymous and confidential manner, they may use EthicsPoint, a system operated by a third party provider. Our shareholders, customers and service providers are also encouraged to use EthicsPoint to share with Popular concerns or situations related to fraud, accounting and audit, among others. The information included in any such reports allows us to identify situations that may represent a potential threat to Popular and take any necessary preventive and corrective measures.

EthicsPoint will send us the reports received via said system in a confidential and anonymous manner, if you so choose. Rest assured that we evaluate and investigate all the reports received via EthicsPoint.

Please review the EthicsPoint FAQs for more information.
