This Helpline is just one way that you can report your concerns to Astellas. We encourage everyone – whether you are an Astellas employee, contractor, business partner, customer, or other – to report all good faith suspicions of improper or inappropriate activities. While Astellas employees have an obligation to report their concerns under our Code of Conduct, we know that everyone has an important role in helping us ensure that Astellas always embodies the highest ethical standards.

Compliance and integrity are core Astellas values. High ethical standards are an essential part of our culture. Astellas expects and requires all employees, contractors, and business partners to perform their daily responsibilities or work for Astellas in a highly ethical manner and in compliance with the Astellas Group Code of Conduct or the Astellas Business Partner Code of Conduct (as applicable), as well as all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and policies.

There are many ways to report. Reporting your suspicions about potentially non-compliant behavior is always the right thing to do. Within Astellas, you can speak up by contacting your Manager, Human Resources, Legal or E&C. Outside of Astellas, you can reach out to any contact within Astellas. In addition, everyone can use the E&C Helpline, either online or by phone, to report suspected instances of non-compliance related to Astellas activities.

All reports through the E&C Helpline can be made anonymously (consistent with local laws and regulations) or with your name identified. Astellas recognizes that you may prefer to remain anonymous, and Astellas is fully committed to maintaining an avenue for such complaints, where permitted under local laws. If you are comfortable doing so, however, Astellas prefers that you identify yourself because it often makes following up on reports much easier. Whether your report is anonymous or not, please provide as many details as possible about the situation. EthicsPoint manages the intake of reports and will confidentially forward them to E&C. Each report will be reviewed and resolved in a fair, objective and timely manner.

Astellas does not tolerate retaliation. Astellas strictly prohibits retaliation or retribution against anyone who, in good faith, raises a compliance concern, even if the report is ultimately found to be mistaken or unsubstantiated. Similarly, Astellas will take action against individuals who intentionally make a false report.

Do not use EthicsPoint to report an adverse event or drug safety concern. Report adverse events concerning Astellas products within 24 hours of when you first received the information using appropriate Astellas adverse event reporting channels.
