Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and founded in 1898, Cox is a global company with a focus on the future of mobility, connectivity and sustainability.
Every Cox employee has a responsibility to know and follow the Cox Code of Conduct and ask questions about issues that are unclear. Our Code lays out the basic guidelines for how we conduct business but it doesn’t have the answer to every question you might have or every situation you might face.
If you have a question or concern, start with your manager. If you’re uncomfortable discussing your concerns with your manager, or if you are unsatisfied with your manager’s response, you may reach out to your HR representative, the Compliance Officer or make contact through the Ethics Hotline. It is accessible by phone or Web and allows you to anonymously ask questions or share your concerns 24 hours a day, seven days a week with an independent, third-party interview specialist.
When you contact the Ethics Hotline, the information you provide is documented in detail and forwarded to the appropriate office within Cox for investigation and resolution. Your concern will be promptly addressed and handled with the appropriate level of confidentiality. Anonymity will be maintained within the limits of the law and to the extent it will not impede or hinder the investigation process. Keep in mind, it may not be appropriate for the results of an investigation to be communicated back to you in light of our obligation to protect privacy and confidentiality, but you will have the ability to know whether the review or investigation has been completed and closed.
Anyone who knowingly violates our Code, our policies, regulations or the law -- or fails to report a violation -- may face corrective action, up to and including separation from employment.
