At Louisiana State University, we strive to achieve excellence at all levels of our institutions, and pride ourselves in fostering an environment of the highest degree of ethical standards. It is our belief that each stakeholder of our community is a part of that effort.
We ask for your support in assisting Louisiana State University in maintaining an environment with the highest degree of ethical standards and principles, and although, we do not believe unethical actions characterize Louisiana State University, we do want to ensure that we have effective ways of reporting activities that we believe are inappropriate. To help in that effort, the university has implemented the LSU Ethics & Integrity Hotline, a phone and Internet-based reporting system.
The LSU Ethics & Integrity Hotline is a third-party reporting system managed by an outside organization, EthicsPoint. It provides a secure and confidential means to report activities that may involve fraudulent, unethical, or otherwise inappropriate behavior in violation of LSU by-laws, or policies.
We have implemented the LSU Ethics & Integrity Hotline as a reporting mechanism to aid all members of our community in working with LSU to report possible issues of financial irregularities, fraud, abuse, misconduct, and other violations, while committing to cultivate a positive, rich environment for all of our stakeholders. The LSU Ethics & Integrity Hotline system is securely configured to protect the identity of the reporter, if they wish to remain anonymous, while still providing a formal mechanism for investigation, communication between the investigator and the reporter during follow-up, and response. You may file a report through the LSU Ethics & Integrity Hotline on this website or by telephoning toll-free 855-561-4099.
LSU is providing the LSU Ethics & Integrity Hotline as we are committed to encouraging open and honest communication of concerns, and we encourage the members of the LSU community to continue to report issues and/or concerns though the established reporting channels whenever possible. However, we understand the reporter’s confidentiality is important, and in situations where you prefer to make a report in confidence, we encourage the use of the LSU Ethics & Integrity Hotline.
You may use either of the following two methods to submit a report:
After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
