Our Commitment

At Syneos Health, we prioritize the importance of open communication and ethical conduct. We are dedicated to creating a workplace where ethical behavior is the norm and where everyone feels empowered to speak up without fear of retaliation. By using the Business Ethics Helpline, you contribute to a culture of integrity and accountability that benefits us all. The Business Ethics Helpline serves as a secure channel for you to raise concerns and report any potential or known violations of our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics or Syneos Health policies. We believe fostering an open and transparent environment is crucial for maintaining trust and accountability.

When to Use the Business Ethics Helpline

We want you to feel comfortable in approaching your manager in instances where you believe violations of applicable laws, company policies or standards have occurred. In situations where you prefer to report via an external mechanism, you are encouraged to use this Business Ethics Helpline or web reporting form, hosted by our third-party provider, EthicsPoint.

How to Use the Business Ethics Helpline

If you believe you have a reportable incident, select the most convenient method of reporting from the above choices. Please provide your name and contact details so we can reach out if more information is needed. You can also provide information anonymously if you prefer, and if your local laws permit (EthicsPoint will not accept anonymous reports in certain locations). Whether your report is anonymous or not, we ask that you provide us with as many details about the matter as possible to ensure a proper and thorough investigation. Syneos Health will protect the confidentiality and anonymity of the reporter to the extent allowed by law and consistent with the need to conduct an adequate investigation. In all cases, the information will be communicated on a need-to-know basis. EthicsPoint manages the intake of all reports and will confidentially forward them to the Syneos Health Compliance and Ethics Office.

Syneos Health has a Speak-Up Policy which contains a strong “No Retaliation” provision for anyone reporting compliance and ethics issues or concerns. This provision provides that no employee who makes a report in good faith shall suffer retaliation. Good faith means a reasonable belief that the information relayed shows misconduct within the Company.

For individuals in the European Union, the provisions of the Whistleblowing Directive and the related local legislation place some limitations on the types of violations that can be reported in order for the relevant protection to apply. For further information about the rights and protection in each EU country, please review the applicable Supplements to the Speak-Up Policy. If your concern relates to issues outside of the scope of the Whistleblowing Directive, you should report them to your manager, Human Resources or the Compliance and Ethics Office.
