Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Hotline

Home FAQs

In today's global business environment, a company has only one real advantage over its competition: people. People make Thomson Reuters what it is. Our people drive sales, develop products, and represent our Company in over 100 countries and 5 different industries. Our people safeguard our values of Trust, Innovation, Partnership, and Performance.

Trust is at the heart of all we do. The foundation of that trust is built upon our long-established reputation for integrity. But it only takes one illegal or unethical action to destroy it. That's why your voice is so important in our Company. We rely on you to help us by speaking up whenever any situation threatens our values and our reputation. When you do, you provide us with the information necessary to remedy the situation. You may also want to seek guidance or clarification about how our Policies apply to certain situations. Such situations may pertain to:

  • Using Assets and Information Properly, including Data Privacy, Proper Use of Computer and Communication Systems, Confidential Information and Securities Laws and Insider Trading.
  • Working with Customers and Other Third Parties, including Antitrust and Competitive Intelligence, Giving or Receiving Payments, Benefits or Gifts, and Contractual Authorization and Process.
  • Maintaining Our Controls, including Accounting, Auditing or Disclosure Concerns, Accuracy of Records and Information, and Embargoes, Sanctions and Export Controls.
  • Promoting Respect, Safety and Security in the Workplace, including Discrimination and Harassment, Health and Safety, and use of Drugs and Alcohol.

When it comes to any of those issues, silence doesn't help. It hurts. Select from above to submit a report or inquiry, follow up on a report that has already been submitted or read our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
