Twilio is an organization with strong values of integrity, responsibility and accountability. Our Code of Conduct contains guidelines for conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
Twilio is committed to maintaining a culture and environment where open and honest communications are the rule, not the exception. We want you to feel comfortable speaking up when you believe violations of the Code or our policies have occurred. You can do so by contacting your supervisor, HR Business Partner, a member of management, or the Ethics and Compliance Office. Rest assured that we treat ethics reports with sensitivity, discretion, and respect for the confidentiality of the situation. And we never allow retaliation against an employee who raises a genuine concern in good faith.
For situations where you prefer to report with the option of remaining anonymous, we have engaged EthicsPoint, a third party helpline provider, to handle the intake of reports. This is a place where you can submit a report relating to violations of our Code of Conduct, or request guidance on company policies and procedures and how they apply to a specific situation. With EthicsPoint, all matters are treated as confidential, and you have the option of reporting on a no names basis, in accordance with and as permitted by local country law.
After receiving your report, EthicsPoint will send us the information you provide. You have our guarantee that your concerns will be heard, and that no efforts will be made to try to identify you if you have reported anonymously. If anonymous reporting is not permitted under local law in your region, we still strongly encourage you to make the report. Rest assured that you can do so safely, without fear of retaliation. We want to hear your concerns and will take steps to be sure they are addressed fully and promptly. Including your contact information will allow us to follow up with you to understand and get to the bottom of the situation. Please see the EthicsPoint FAQs for more information.
After you submit a report through EthicsPoint, you will receive a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, you can use your report key and password to check back in on your report for feedback from us, or questions on the specific issues you have raised.
