What is the Speak Up Line?
The Speak Up Line is a channel through which you may let us know if you see or learn something that suggests that our policies, Code of Business Ethics & Conduct and/or the law has been violated.
You may contact the Speak Up Line anonymously by telephone and through this site, on your smartphone, tablet or computer from any location with internet access. Remember to safeguard your report key so you may follow up after you submit your question or report. If you made an anonymous report, when you check back with us your anonymity is maintained.
Who administers the Speak Up Line?
The Speak Up Line is administered by NAVEX, an independent company. Their call center is available 24/7 and can accommodate calls in more than 75 languages. The Speak Up line website is available in Spanish as well as in English. Just click on the top-left corner of this page if you wish to read in Spanish.
Who else may I speak to?
Panera Bread encourages you to speak up using the communication channel with which you are most comfortable. You have several options such as your supervisor or manager, the Legal Department or any member of the Ethics & Compliance Team.
What to Expect After I "Speak Up"?
Once you submit your question or report, you will receive a report key and password which you may use to follow up on your submission. Then Panera Bread’s Ethics & Compliance Team is notified so that they can review your question or report and determine next steps.
Please note that if you have submitted an anonymous report and you do not provide us with the information necessary for us to conduct a thorough investigation, there is a risk that we may not be able to complete our investigation. Therefore, please check back with us on a regular basis by using your report key and logging in at panera.ethicspoint.com or by calling the EthicsPoint Support Center (+1-888-840-4151) to answer our follow-up questions. Your anonymity is maintained when you log back in.
What is Panera Bread’s view of Retaliation?
Panera Bread does not tolerate retaliation. We consider acts of retaliation to be misconduct. Our commitment is more fully described in our Code of Business Ethics & Conduct and our Non-Retaliation Policy.
Are Reports to the Speak Up Line confidential?
Your report is confidential, subject to the requirements of any applicable laws and our ability to conduct a thorough investigation. If you provide contact details, we can stay in touch with you during our investigation process.
