Reporting Violations

McDonald’s dedication to conducting business ethically and in compliance with the letter and spirit of the law is reflected in our Standards of Business Conduct. Your concerns are important to us.

If you see a possible violation of McDonald’s Standards of Business Conduct, company policies, laws or regulatory requirements, it is important to report your concerns as soon as possible.

The Standards of Business Conduct are one of our guides to making good decisions and conducting business ethically. In addition to the Standards, McDonald’s offers a variety of reporting options for you to ask questions or obtain guidance regarding a business practice.

Non-Retaliation and Confidentiality

As a McDonald’s employee, you are safe from retaliation. McDonald’s strictly prohibits retaliation of any kind directed against an employee who has, in good faith, reported a possible violation.

McDonald’s will handle all inquiries discreetly and, to the extent possible and within the limits allowed by law, preserve the confidentiality of anyone reporting a possible violation or providing information in an investigation. We encourage you to identify yourself because it helps the review and investigative processes. You may also submit your report anonymously, where permitted by law.

Whether you submit a report online or by phone, you may always check the status of your report or provide additional information. For online and phone reports, use the unique reference number assigned to you in your first call.
