WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE PALIG ETHICS HOTLINE

WHAT IS THE PALIG ETHICS HOTLINE?

The PALIG Ethics Hotline provides a confidential channel through which you may raise and report any issues or concerns regarding unethical, unprofessional, illegal, fraudulent or other questionable behavior, including but not limited to those relating to our code of conduct. All reports received will be given careful attention by PALIG.

WHEN TO USE THE PALIG ETHICS HOTLINE?

The PALIG Ethics Hotline should be used in circumstances where other channels of communication are unavailable or do not appear to be appropriate. If you have a concern, you should first consider raising it directly with management or any of the reporting channels available to you, including compliance. If you still believe there is an issue or if you prefer to remain anonymous, then please report your concerns through the PALIG Ethics Hotline.

HOW TO USE THE PALIG ETHICS HOTLINE?

Reports can be made either online, via telephone or in-person. Before submitting your report online or over the phone, you will be asked to choose a password, and upon submitting your report, you will be given a Report Key. You should return to the site for updates on the report, or to answer requests for further information to help our investigation of the matter. You will need to enter your Report Key and your password to access your report. We ask that you allow us five to six (5-6) business days to respond to your report or inquiries.

PALIG’S COMMITMENT TO ANONYMITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

If you request to remain anonymous when making a report online or over the phone, we will respect your request. However, we encourage those reporting anonymously to provide sufficient information that will assist in the review or investigation of the issue. In all cases, we treat your report with confidentiality; however, disclosure to others inside or outside of PALIG may be required in certain cases.

PALIG’S COMMITMENT TO NON-RETALIATION

PALIG encourages people to report concerns regarding unethical or illegal behavior, and is committed to protect those who raise such concerns in good faith from retaliation. Retaliation is a serious violation of our Code of Conduct and any retaliation by a PALIG employee, such as intimidation, is subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

WHO OPERATES THE PALIG ETHICS HOTLINE?

This website is operated by an independent external organization, NAVEX (https://www.navexglobal.com/en-us), which provides confidential and, if so desired, anonymous hotline reporting solutions for organizations worldwide. NAVEX collects information from the reporter and then passes the report to PALIG for follow-up and investigation.
