What is The Hartford’s EthicsPoint Integrity Hotline?
The Hartford’s EthicsPoint Integrity Hotline is a confidential channel to raise concerns about ethics, compliance or The Hartford’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct. It also allows you to remain anonymous if desired.
Who administers The Hartford’s EthicsPoint Integrity Hotline?
The Hartford’s EthicsPoint Integrity Hotline is administered by an independent company (NAVEX), and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
What if I am concerned about Retaliation?
The Hartford does not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith, meaning you genuinely believe your report is true. The Retaliation Free Workplace Policy protects any employee who reports a good faith concern or participates in an investigation—regardless of the outcome.
Who else can I speak to?
The Hartford encourages speaking-up to the channel you are most comfortable with. This can include your direct manager, another leader, Employee Relations, a Compliance Officer, or via this EthicsPoint Integrity Hotline portal.
What happens after I contact The Hartford’s EthicsPoint Integrity Hotline?
After you submit a question or concern by phone or online, you’ll receive a report key and password to track your submission. Your report will be routed to The Hartford’s Review Team—which may include Compliance, Legal, Employee Relations, and/or Investigative Services—so they can determine next steps.
Are reports The Hartford’s EthicsPoint Integrity Hotline secure and confidential?
EthicsPoint is hosted on NAVEX’s secure servers and operates independently from The Hartford’s website and Intranet. Reports are maintained in strict confidence and access is limited to a small, authorized team that need to know in order to review and investigate the matter. You may elect to remain anonymous throughout the process.
