OUR COMMITMENT

Augusta University is committed to the highest ethical and professional standards in pursuit of our mission as Georgia’s only public academic medical center and designated health sciences university.

This commitment is highlighted every day in our efforts to educate, train and mentor the next generation of leaders, health care providers, and global citizens in a shared culture rooted in collegiality, compassion, excellence, inclusivity, integrity and leadership.

The Compliance and Ethics Hotline is for all to inquire about or report possible unethical, unsafe, or unlawful behavior or violations of policy or state and federal laws. The Compliance and Ethics Hotline is an important part of our commitment to maintain an ethical culture and reinforce the USG Core Values of Integrity, Excellence, Accountability and Respect. The Compliance and Ethics Hotline is not intended to replace existing channels of communication and reporting systems on campus. It is available as an additional platform if you do not feel comfortable telling your supervisor or the designated office(s) about your concerns.

Additional helpful information regarding the Compliance and Ethics Hotline may be found by following the FAQs link above.

As a member of Jaguar Nation, I applaud your commitment to ethical principles and to fair and just words, behaviors and actions within our institutional settings and in the communities we serve.

Sincerely,

Dr. Russell T. Keen
President, Augusta University
