University of West Georgia (UWG) is committed to fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. The purpose of the UWG Ethics & Compliance Reporting Hotline is to provide a confidential reporting process for suspected fraud, waste and abuse or other policy and ethics violations.

In Case of Emergency: If you believe there is an imminent safety risk to yourself (or others) please call 911 immediately.

Mental Health Support For mental health support, we also provide a specific, separate support line for mental health services for students that provides 24/7/365 Clinical Support: 833-646-1526 USG students can access free counselling and on-demand wellness resources at https://app.uwill.com/login.

STEP 1: Are you an employee? (If not an employee, please go to STEP 2)

If an employee (student employees included), can you report your concerns to your immediate supervisor?

UWG employees are encouraged, when appropriate, to first raise workplace concerns with their immediate supervisor. We recognize, however, that this may not always be possible or appropriate given the circumstances. If you are unable to report your concern to your supervisor, please continue reviewing the options and next steps outlined below.

STEP 2: Review reporting processes based on your concerns.

Personnel & Employee Relations Concerns (i.e. Retaliation, Harassment, Unfair Employment Practices, etc.), please visit the Office of Human Resources webpage for resources and contact information at https://workwest.westga.edu/hr/employee-relations.php.

If you have concerns regarding violations of the Student Code of Conduct, contact the Office of Community Standards at ocs@westga.edu or submit an Incident Report at:

Concerns may be reported directly to the Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX, which can assist students and employees with complaints of discrimination and harassment related to sex, race, or other legally protected characteristics.
