Dear OU Community,

At OU, our commitment to becoming a place of belonging for all strikes at the heart of everything we stand for as a community. Upholding this core value includes our promise to foster an environment of integrity, respect, and the highest ethical standards.

Each member of the OU community shares the responsibility of ensuring these values are firmly upheld and concerns are promptly addressed. To that end, the University has partnered with EthicsPoint, an independent third party, to provide a simple and anonymous way for employees and students to report concerns or possible misconduct.

The University takes these matters extremely seriously and is committed to holding individuals, regardless of rank, accountable for their actions when they are found to violate University policy. Let’s all do our part to make OU a safe and inviting community.

Live On, University,

Joseph Harroz, Jr.
President

Your Obligations as a Reporter:
The University relies on you to report good faith concerns about policy violations or unethical behavior. It is expected that you will be truthful and cooperative during the University's investigation of allegations. Any attempts to intimidate or retaliate against individuals for filing, responding to, or participating in a hotline report are strictly prohibited. False complaints can severely undermine the effectiveness of the University's reporting systems and discourage individuals from expressing genuine concerns. Anyone who deliberately submits false reports or provides misleading information during investigations is in violation of university policies. The University reserves the right to take action under its policies in cases of retaliation or false reporting by employees or students, including the possibility of legal action under applicable law.
