At SFM, good ethics and fair dealing are an essential part of our culture, and we are committed to conducting business with the highest level of integrity. Employees and third parties are encouraged to report potential violations of SFM's Code of Business Ethics and Conduct, or complaints under the Audit Committee Complaint Policy, pertaining to accounting or actuarial practices, internal accounting controls, or auditing matters. SFM promotes an environment where open, honest communications are the expectation, not the exception. In situations where you prefer to place an anonymous report in confidence, you are encouraged to use this hotline, hosted by an independent third-party hotline provider, EthicsPoint.
The Hotline operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When you contact the hotline, your report will be promptly and discreetly documented in detail and addressed by a team that may include representation from the SFM Board Audit Committee or SFM's Code Compliance Officers, depending on the nature of the report. Reports may be made anonymously, if you should choose. SFM employees may also turn to their leader, the Code Compliance Officers, or Human Resources to report their concerns. You have our guarantee that your comments will be heard.
SFM will not permit retaliation of any kind against any individual who in good faith reports illegal or unethical conduct, or misconduct related to financial and auditing matters.
See the EthicsPoint FAQs for more information.
You may use either of the following two methods to submit a report:
After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
