Welcome to the World Vision International Integrity & Protection Hotline

This site is hosted and operated by NAVEX, a world class provider of ethics and compliance reporting services, and is available for staff and board members throughout the World Vision Partnership, including full-time, part-time, contract and temporary employees, interns, volunteers, board members, and advisory council members. Additionally, this service is available as a reporting mechanism to all beneficiaries, donors, sponsors, visitors, contractors, and vendors of WV. You may use this site to make a report with a NAVEX operator (through a toll-free phone number) or through the on-line form. We will treat your report confidentially, investigate as appropriate, and take any corrective actions that may be required.

When to Report

The Integrity & Protection Hotline is intended to address matters of a serious nature relating to the conduct of World Vision and its employees. Any report made in good faith will be treated seriously, investigated as necessary, and addressed by the appropriate management. World Vision encourages all staff members to first speak to their manager or local human resources representative when they have concerns about a policy violation or misconduct, as this is typically the best method for addressing problems and allows the appropriate management to take action. However, in those exceptional cases where a person has been discouraged from reporting or may fear for his or her job or well-being, the Integrity & Protection Hotline is available to bypass those normal channels in a confidential manner.

What to Report

You may use this site to report allegations of misconduct by World Vision staff or agents. This should include behavior constituting:

  • Violations of law;
  • Violations of WV policy;
  • Actions perceived as unethical;
  • Other matters which may cause financial loss to WV, damage its reputation, or be otherwise detrimental to its interests.
  • Trafficking in Persons. If you suspect that someone is engaged in or has been the victim of human trafficking in relation to World Vision please immediately inform your management or file a report on this WV Hotline. If the trafficking is in relation to a USAID-funded project managed by World Vision, you may also contact the US Government's Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-844-888-FREE (if you are in the US) or at help@befree.org.

How to Report

If you have decided to make a report, we ask that you provide your name and contact information so that we may better assess the allegations and follow-up with you in addressing your concerns. If you choose not to provide your name or contact information, you may file your report anonymously, but note that anonymous reports are suspect as they have greater potential for abuse, and may be subject to legal limitations. Please be sure to include the following information with your complaint:

  • All facts describing the alleged event, issue, or matter;
  • The name and title of each person involved;
  • Dates, times, frequency, and locations;
  • Facts relevant to urgency; and
  • Documentation, witnesses, or other evidence available to support the allegation, including any laws or policies believed to be breached.

Please keep in mind that those who initially read your complaint or investigators may not be familiar with your local context or local laws, so as much detail as you are able to give is helpful.

Important: This site should not be used for reporting events presenting an immediate threat to life or property. If you require emergency assistance, please contact your local emergency services.
