Emerson College Online Reporting
Emerson College is an institution with strong values of responsibility and integrity. Emerson is committed to and strives to create an educational and work environment free of discrimination, harassment and sexual violence (sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking). Our Ethics and Conflict of Interest Policy contains rules for operating with the highest standards of ethics. Our Policy Against Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual Violence protects students and employees (faculty and staff) from this conduct.
Members of the Emerson community are encouraged to come forward with information regarding conduct they believe may violate any College policy. You have the option to report online by clicking “Make a Report” or you can also report directly to the Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO) (617-824-8999 or oeo@emerson.edu). Students can also report directly to the Director of Community Standards (617-824-8620 or studentconductoffice@emerson.edu) and Employees (staff or faculty) can report to Human Resources (617-824-8580 or hr@emerson.edu).
To submit an online report, please click on “Make a Report” at the top of the page to access a list of reporting categories. After selecting a category, you will be taken to a reporting form. Before submitting your report, you will be asked to create a password. After submitting the report, you will be given a report key. It is important that you write down the password and report key to be able to access your report again. This is especially important if you choose to report anonymously, as this reporting portal will allow the College to communicate with you while still maintaining your anonymity. You should use the “Follow up on A Report” link at the top of the page within five (5) business days after submitting your report using your password and report key to see if there is any communication from Emerson regarding the information submitted. Please note that, without being able to follow up on a report, Emerson typically is unable to meaningfully respond to concerns that are reported anonymously.
Please know that information submitted through this online reporting portal will be handled with the utmost privacy and discretion, and will only be shared with those administrators within the institution who can address these concerns. Typically that would include either the Office of Equal Opportunity or Human Resources depending on who is involved in the conduct.
