About the Hotline
While laws and regulations vary in the countries we operate, all Nidec employees and related parties must share certain fundamental principles around business conduct and ethics. These principles are defined in our Code of Conduct (“Code”). Compliance with our Code is mandatory for all Nidec employees.
All employees have a responsibility to report any potential breaches of the Code. Nidec strives to provide employees with a safe and reliable way to report information, and to submit compliance or ethics-related questions or disclosures.
We use the EthicsPoint reporting system from NAVEX, which is an independent professional hotline provider. You may report information confidentially and anonymously should you so wish, to the extent that anonymous reports are allowed by law. The service is available in multiple languages, and reports can be made through the EthicsPoint phone numbers or website.
Nidec has a very clear policy of non-retaliation and protection for anyone reporting a violation of the Code in good faith. We sincerely appreciate your input and feedback.
