About the SpeakUp Line
What is the DXC SpeakUp Line?
The DXC SpeakUp Line is a comprehensive and confidential reporting tool hosted on the EthicsPoint secure server by our independent, third-party vendor NAVEX. The tool provides DXC employees, officers, directors, contractors and others with a channel to:
- Speak up – anonymously if preferred (and allowed by local law) – with questions or concerns about ethics and compliance matters, including, but not limited to, known or potential fraud or abuse or other misconduct that may violate DXC’s Code of Conduct (“Code”) or the law.
- Seek guidance on ethical dilemmas and on the application of DXC’s values to business and workplace situations.
Why does DXC have a SpeakUp Line?
DXC delivers excellence for customers and colleagues. We can do this successfully only through a commitment to operating with integrity, in accordance with our values. We make good on this commitment by speaking up whenever we have a question about how to do the right thing or a concern about misconduct we have witnessed or suspect.
We try to foster a positive, open and supportive culture that encourages our employees and representatives to speak up, comfortable in the knowledge that DXC does not tolerate retaliation against those who come forward. Ideally, individuals will feel comfortable speaking directly with their manager, DXC Integrity or Human Resources. We understand that there may be times when individuals prefer to use another channel, perhaps anonymously. This is why we have the SpeakUp Line.
Reporting – General
How may I report?
With the SpeakUp Line, you have the ability to ask a question or report a concern via the web portal, phone or mobile app, whichever you prefer.
What type of concerns should I report?
The SpeakUp Line is designed for individuals to report any known or potential violation of our Code of Conduct, company policies or procedures, or any other concern you may have. You do not need to be absolutely sure there has been a violation. Rather, we encourage reporting even potential violations so that we can look into the concern and try to address issues before they escalate. The only requirement is that you act in good faith. This does not mean you have to have full knowledge of the facts and be right about what you are reporting; it simply means you must have an honest belief and are acting in the best interests of DXC. Do not use this site to report events presenting an immediate threat to life or property. Reports submitted through this service may not receive an immediate response. If you require emergency assistance, please contact your local authorities.
Why should I submit a report?
We all have the right to work in a positive environment, free from fear. With that right comes the responsibility of acting in an ethical manner and advocating for ourselves, our peers and DXC. By speaking up when something is unclear or doesn’t feel right, we are making a decision to reinforce the culture to which we aspire. Even more important, whether conspicuously or not, we are making the choice to be an ethical leader and role model.
Reporting Security & Confidentiality
Will my report be kept confidential?
Reports are entered directly on the EthicsPoint secure server. The reports are available only to specific individuals within DXC who are trained in proper evaluation of the facts and circumstances, while protecting the confidentiality of those involved to the greatest extent possible.
Will I have to give my name?
No, you do not have to provide your name to the SpeakUp Line and can remain anonymous. However, identifying yourself is likely to assist in a more timely, proactive and efficient approach to addressing the concern you bring forward. If you choose to remain anonymous, it makes it harder to follow up to obtain additional information or provide case updates.
Tips & Best Practices
I am aware of some individuals acting unethically, but it doesn't affect me. Why should I bother reporting it?
DXC promotes ethical behavior. All unethical conduct, at any level, ultimately hurts our company and all employees, including you. So, if you know of any actual or potential incidents of misconduct or ethical violations, consider it your duty to advocate for yourself, your coworkers, and DXC and report it.
