Accounting & Finance
Concerns about questionable practices relating to accounting, auditing, billing or internal financial controls (Examples include: misstatement of revenues, misstatement of expenses, misstatement of assets, misapplications of GAAP principles, wrongful transactions).
Bribery & Corruption
The payment or provision of any money, fee, commission, credit, gift, gratuity, thing of value or compensation of any kind that is provided directly or indirectly, and that has as one of its purposes the improper obtaining or rewarding of favorable treatment in a business relationship.
Competition
Violation of law and/or regulation, in any jurisdiction, governing fair competition or any unfair business practice.
Conflicts of Interest
Any personal or financial interest, any business or professional activity, prior or current employment, or any obligation that may interfere with the ability to objectively perform job duties and responsibilities or impair independence and objectivity.
Employee Relations
Discrimination: Statements or actions based on age, race, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, disability or religion that are the basis for employment, promotion or compensation decisions.
Sexual Harassment: Statements or actions expressing unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, unsolicited physical contact or propositions, unwelcome flirtations, offensive verbal or visual expressions or physical conduct of a sexual nature.
Retaliation: Statements or actions discharging, demoting, suspending, threatening, harassing or discriminating against an employee because of any lawful act taken by such employee in connection with reporting a violation of law or policy, filing a complaint or assisting with an investigation or proceeding.
Workplace Harassment: Persistent statements, conduct or actions that are uninvited, degrading, offensive, humiliating or intimidating and create an unpleasant or hostile environment.
Environmental
Violation of any environmental law, regulation, corporate policy or procedure with respect to the handling and disposal of hazardous materials and/or the health and safety of other individuals.
Human Rights and Forced Labor Violations
Suspected cases of human rights violations or forced labor in DXC’s internal operations or supply chain.
Intellectual Property
Unauthorized or inappropriate use, misappropriation or disclosure of confidential information or intellectual property belonging to DXC or any customer, supplier or business partner of DXC including intellectual property protected under any U.S. or other laws relating to copyrights, patents, trademarks or trade secrets.
Legal Disputes
Breach of contract and/or disagreement regarding terms and conditions. Disputes about legal rights or obligations including rights or obligations arising under employment agreements, confidential information agreements and other legal agreements.
Misuse of Corporate Assets
Improper or unauthorized use of Company resources, equipment, assets and technologies for personal gain, or without permission for non-business related use.
Privacy & Data Protection
Improper collection, processing and/or transfer of protected data, including personal and personally-identifiable information of employees and client employees, sensitive personal information and protected health information.
Respect & Fair Treatment
Employment decisions or disciplinary actions that are believed to be unfair regardless of whether they are the result of hiring, promotion or recruitment practices, employee performance appraisals/appeals or relate to wrongful terminations, dismissals, workforce reduction actions, labor law issues, changes in business needs or other business-related decisions.
Theft
Deliberate deception to obtain unfair or unlawful personal gain, including theft or diversion of funds by falsifying documents or expense records.
Time Reporting
Concerns about an employee or manager who is falsifying or inaccurately reporting his/her work hours.
Trade, Import & Export
Violation of any import or export law, corporate policy or procedure; such as transactions involving an embargoed country and export of products or transfer of technology without appropriate licenses in place.
Workplace Fraud
Deliberate attempts to deceive or defraud DXC for personal gain; such as the solicitation or acceptance of cash, goods, services or favors extended to or received by customers, employees, suppliers, vendors, competitors or other parties that are unlawful, improper or designed to influence business decisions or circumvent processes.
Workplace Health & Safety
Any expression of the intention to inflict injury or damage to persons or property. Misuse of legal and/or illegal drugs, including alcohol, while at a DXC location or conducting business on behalf of DXC or in a manner that may affect workplace safety.
Other
Any concerns not specifically addressed by any of the other categories.
