Reporting Safety and Integrity Concerns

At Dollar Tree and Family Dollar, our foundational values guide our behaviors and decisions. One of those foundational values is to Act with Integrity. As set out in our Code of Conduct, all associates are expected to do the right thing by each other, our customers, our community, and our company.

If you see or suspect any safety or integrity concern or activity in violation of our Code of Conduct, our policies, or the law, you can report this by clicking on the “report a concern” button or by calling our Integrity Matters hotline (US and Canada: 833-777-7587; China 4001201892). The Integrity Matters hotline and website are managed 24 hours, 7 days a week by an external partner to Dollar Tree and Family Dollar. You may choose to provide your name or remain anonymous.

What Happens When You Raise A Concern?

Voice Your Concern

Use the NAVEX hotline, Integrity Matters email or QR code, or an open door to voice your concern on unethical behavior. In the U.S. and most countries, you may choose to remain anonymous. If you choose to remain anonymous, please provide detailed information so a thorough review can take place (i.e., who, what, when, where, why, how, relevant documents).

Initial Assessment

The person assigned the matter will assess what was reported and decide next steps. Based on the amount of information you provide, someone may follow up with you for more information.

Information Gathering

Further investigation may be needed, including fact-finding meetings/interviews with the subject of the concern, relevant parties, or witnesses (on a need-to-know basis). The details of any complaints or concerns received are handled discreetly. Not all reported matters are equal, and therefore, not all investigations are the same. The time it takes to do an investigation varies depending on the allegations.

Review

Upon completion of the investigation, the appropriate outcome will be determined. A range of disciplinary and non-disciplinary outcomes may be considered. Due to confidentiality, these outcomes are generally not shared with you, but you can be informed of the status of the investigation.

Closure

Once the investigation is complete and an appropriate outcome has been reached, the matter is closed. We do not tolerate any form of retaliation for reports or complaints about misconduct that were made in good faith, or against anyone who assists us in looking into an inquiry. If you are ever concerned about possible retaliatory action, report it immediately to your manager, Human Resources, or Integrity Matters.
