Q) What is ConcernNET?
A) ConcernNET is TE Connectivity’s global online reporting resource. It is a confidential channel through which you can ask questions and report concerns about potential violation to TE Connectivity’s Guide to Ethical Conduct, TE policies and procedures, or any applicable laws. You can either report your concern online through this website, or by telephone using the ConcernLINE number for your country.
Q) Who administers ConcernNET?
A) ConcernNET is administered by NAVEX, a third-party company. Any information you provide will be treated confidentially to the extent permitted by law and will only be disclosed to people who have a need to know in order to investigate and/or address the matter.
Q) What is ConcernLINE?
A) ConcernLINE is a toll-free telephone hotline that you can use to report a concern about potential violation to TE Connectivity’s Guide to Ethical Conduct, TE policies and procedures, or any applicable laws. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Q) Who receives calls made to ConcernLINE?
A) ConcernLINE is operated by NAVEX, a third-party company. This service is available 24 hours a day.
Q) Why are there two phone numbers for my country, and which one should I use?
A) To the extent available, Toll-free numbers are provided for each country in which TE operates. In a few countries, due to local circumstances and requirements, multiple numbers exist to ensure adequate coverage for the entire country for both landline and mobile numbers. If the first number does not work, please try the second.
Q) What kinds of issues can I report to ConcernNET or ConcernLINE?
A) Many types of issues are reported through these reporting channels, for example, suspected violations of laws or regulations, violations of company policies/procedures or TE’s Guide to Ethical Conduct, fraud and corruption related matters, or when the vital interest of the company or the life, health or safety of TE employees are at stake. Certain countries may have additional guidance around what can be reported through these channels.
Q) What should I do if I don't have all the information, or aren't sure if something needs to be reported?
A) If you suspect a violation or have a concern, but do not know all of the facts, DO NOT TRY TO CONDUCT YOUR OWN INVESTIGATION. Report what you know through ConcernNET or ConcernLINE. TE has a strong non-retaliation policy for any reports made in good faith.
Q) What is TE Connectivity's stance on retaliation?
A) You are protected from retaliation for any report of a suspected violation or concern that is made in good faith, even if your reported matter is unsubstantiated after an investigation. Retaliatory conduct of any kind will not be tolerated. Please be aware, however, that knowingly providing false information may subject you to disciplinary action.
Q) Can I truly remain anonymous if I call ConcernLINE on a TE phone or use a TE device to make my ConcernNET report?
A) ConcernLINE and ConcernNET are operated by an independent third party, and reporters can truly remain anonymous unless your specific country does not permit anonymous reporting.
Q) How is the "Ask a Question" feature different from Reporting a Concern?
A) Use “Ask a Question” if you have a question, but are not sure if it is a concern that should be reported. If you would like to get a direct response to your question via email, please provide your email address (this is optional). Your question will be handled confidentially.
Q) Who will respond to my question if I use the “Ask a Question” feature?
A) After reviewing the question, the appropriate TE representative will get back to you. If you have provided your email address, a response will be sent directly to your email.
Q) If I contact ConcernLINE or use ConcernNET, will my report be ignored?
A) No. While not all reports require a formal investigation, the Office of the Ombudsman reviews every report. We take all reported matters seriously and your issue will be addressed.
Q) Will my question be handled confidentially?
A) Yes. Any information you provide will be treated confidentially to the extent permitted by law. The information will only be disclosed to people who have a need to know in order to investigate and/or address the matter.
