File a Report

Issues reported via Ethics Point are assessed and investigated, as appropriate. Investigations are conducted using centralized resources within BNY Mellon, with appropriate involvement at a local legal entity level, where required, if the reporter chooses to direct their report to a local legal entity.

Ethics Help Line

BNY Mellon's Ethics Help Line is operated by the Ethics Office and is available to employees and others to:

  • Ask questions about the Code of Conduct and related Corporate Policies;
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding situations related to the Code of Conduct and/or related Corporate Policies;
  • Report concerns about activities that may place The Firm's reputation at risk

All contacts to the Ethics Help Line may be anonymous and confidential. Please click here for information on how to contact the Ethics Help Line.

Ethics Hot Line

We want to hear from you if you have a concern about potential wrongdoing. If you find it difficult to raise your concerns through the Ethics Help Line, you can contact the Ethics Hot Line, an independent third-party administrator who delivers anonymous, confidential hotlines for organizations worldwide.

Your report will be routed initially to EthicsPoint. It will then be promptly forwarded by EthicsPoint to the appropriate BNY Mellon Ethics Officer for review. Your report will be assessed and investigated, as appropriate.

The Ethics Hot Line is a method for reporting incidents or conduct that may be unethical, illegal, or places our reputation at risk. Learn More About Filing a Report. To report online, please click on " Report a Concern" located at the top of this page. To contact EthicsPoint by telephone, you may call one of the toll-free numbers on the Direct Access/Toll-Free Telephone Number List.

Completeness and Confidentiality

Although reports can be made anonymously through this Hot Line where legally permitted, BNY Mellon encourages you to identify yourself so that the company can obtain all facts and properly investigate allegations. All reports, including your details, are treated in confidence. The phone number and email address you provide in this form will only be used to contact you regarding this report. Anonymous reporters are encouraged to return to the submitted report to check for feedback and follow-up questions.
