How to Speak Up
If you are a Mondelēz International employee, you should first raise your concern to your manager or your manager’s manager. You may also speak to a relevant supporting function such as the People Team or a member of the Compliance Team. If for any reason you are uncomfortable with these methods or you prefer to raise your concern anonymously, you may then report it via the HelpLine / WebLine.
What are the HelpLine and WebLine?
Mondelēz International has established this site, which is operated by an independent company, NAVEX, to provide an electronic method to report allegations of violations, including the law, the Code of Conduct and other Compliance Policies. WebLine is available in 35 languages, while HelpLine is offered in more than 150 languages.
What Happens After I Report?
All reports submitted using this website are received directly by NAVEX and then routed to the appropriate persons within Mondelēz International, who will ensure that the incident is thoroughly investigated. If the Company confirms that misconduct has occurred, we will address the situation appropriately, including the issuance of corrective or disciplinary action.
How Long Does it Take?
It will really depend on the complexity of the case. We will normally initiate the investigation right away but, in some cases, it may take up to several weeks if we need to gather additional information, conduct multiple interviews and/or review extensive documentation, for example.
Confidentiality Concerns?
Any report you make will be kept confidential to the fullest extent possible consistent with law and good business practices. You also have the choice to remain anonymous.
Retaliation Concerns?
We will not tolerate retaliation against a person who, in good-faith, reports a suspected violation of law or Company policy or who participates in any part of an investigation.
Conflicts of Interest?
If you think that an activity or relationship you're engaged in may pose a potential or actual conflict of interest, or that others could perceive it as such, you must disclose this information. After reviewing your disclosure, a representative from Compliance and your manager will agree on the best approach to address the situation and contact you.
HR-Related Cases
